Project Fiber4Fiber

Dissolving Eucalyptus globulus Pulp for the Development of New Processed Cellulosic Fibers

The "Fiber4Fiber" project aims to investigate and define the optimal operational setup for adapting Caima's dissolving pulp production to produce Viscose and Lyocell fibers with the highest quality standards allowed by the company's raw material. It also aims to create chemical markers that allow the company's customers to demonstrate the origin and sustainability of their products based on soluble pulp, as well as introduce functionalities in cellulosic fibers that are currently only found in synthetic fibers.
